Danny Pickens, a noncommissioned officer in charge of an intelligence team at U.S. Army Reserve, has been named director of Fidelis Cybersecurity‘s threat research group.
He brings more than 10 years of military intelligence, cybersecurity and counterterrorism experience to Fidelis and will lead the team that incorporates data and insight into the Elevate threat detection platform, the company said Wednesday.
Pickens previously led Optiv‘s Global Threat Intelligence Center and managed security services. He also served in analyst roles at ManTech International and BAE Systems.
His government career has included positions focused on intelligence and cyber operations at the tactical, operational and strategic levels.
