AAR‘s mobility systems business has landed a two-year, $27.5M task order to provide 463L cargo pallets for the U.S. Air Force under a previously awarded contract.
The company said Thursday it will manufacture the pallets in Cadillac, Mich., through Dec. 30, 2020.
The task order raises the original contract’s value to $170.6M.
“Over the past 50 years AAR has been the sole provider of 463L liter cargo pallets to the USAF and we are honored to support their ability to deploy strategic assets worldwide,” said Lee Krantz, senior vice president at AAR Mobility Systems.
The new award follows two previous task orders awarded to the company in July.
