The Department of Veterans Affairs has asked industry to submit ideas for building a technology platform that can help the VA manage personnel learning and development efforts.
The VA said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice it looks to implement an “agile” enterprise learning management system to process accreditation and certification requirements; monitor developmental content and activities; plan competency evaluation and individual development; and analyze information on workforce and development.
The department also intends for the platform to help department users collaborate on learning opportunities and plan workforce and succession programs.
Interested parties can electronically submit responses through Nov. 30.
Respondents should be registered in the System for Award Management and have a Commercial and Government Entity Code.
