Praetorian Digital has begun hosting its proprietary learning management system and user management offering in Amazon Web Services’ GovCloud platform for clients in the public sector.
Praetorian Digital said Thursday the effort allows its customers in local governments and organizations in law enforcement, fire rescue and emergency medical services to access cloud-based benefits exclusively for industries operating under the federal government.
Alex Ford, CEO of Praetorian Digital, said migrating to GovCloud will help support nearly 2.6K public sector entities that use the firm’s LMS and user management platform to complete workflows, organize credentials and store critical training data.
Praetorian is now included in a pool of public and private sector entities, such as the National Security Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Lockheed Martin, among others, that have adopted cloud services from AWS.
GovCloud is designed to help American users host sensitive controlled unclassified information and regulated workloads, as well as meet federal security and compliance requirements.
