ManTech International has collaborated with Final Salute to help female military veterans transition to private sector careers through the nonprofit’s Next Uniform program.

Omari Faulkner, military ambassador at ManTech, wrote in an article published Wednesday the company pledged to support universities, organizations and programs that assist women who seek employment after serving in the military.

The firm’s employees have donated business clothing to some veterans whom Final Salute supports.

“We are honored to serve America through our direct support of vital national security programs. We are proud that nearly half of the men and women who do this work are veterans,” said George Pedersen, ManTech founder and executive chairman.

Defense Department estimates that more than 250K service members return to civilian life every year and that a large number of veterans have difficulties adjusting to a diverse marketplace.
