Lockheed Martin will provide night vision sensor systems for Apache attack helicopters under a potential $79.4M modification to a previously awarded contract with the U.S. Army.
The company will also offer technical services and produce subcomponents for the aircraft, the Defense Department said Monday.
Army Contracting Command will determine funds and work locations with each task order.
The award follows a $288.3M contract modification that Lockheed received in June to provide Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensors and other technical support services for Apaches.
Contract work is scheduled to run until Oct. 31, 2021.
