John Paczkowski, senior vice president of ICF, has been inducted into the National Academy of Public Administration’s 2018 Class of Fellows.
ICF said Tuesday that inductees were selected by NAPA’s Fellows Nominating Committee following a comprehensive evaluation of their contributions to public administration.
In his current role, Paczkowski oversees ICF’s homeland security and national resilience practice, which delivers infrastructure resilience, defense mission assurance and emergency management services to the public and private sectors.
He was previously recognized for his leadership of post-9/11 regional homeland security operations during his time as director for emergency management and security at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
He is currently a member of the Council of Executives for the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security at George Washington University.
Ellen Glover, ICF executive VP and Class of 2015 Academy Fellow, said Paczkowski’s induction reflects positively on the company and its efforts to provide advice and support to senior public officials.
The 40 inductees of 2018 officially joined NAPA’s nearly 900 Academy Fellows during the nonprofit organization’s annual Fall Meeting held on Nov. 1 and 2 in Washington, D.C.
