Monster and Military.com have recognized CACI International in a list of companies from various industries that provide career opportunities for veterans.

CACI said Thursday it ranked second among 10 firms in the 2018 Best Companies for Veterans List due to the significant amount of retired service members in the company’s workforce.

Veterans or current members of the U.S. National Guard and military reserve components take up 47 percent of the information technology firm’s new hires in 2018 and 37 percent of its existing workforce.

The list also recognized CACI, a new entrant, for its efforts to train veterans about the corporate environment.

Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI, said the firm believes veterans possess the skills and dedication to duty that provide support for customers’ missions and CACI’s workforce.

The Best Companies for Veterans List acknowledges private entities serving in the information technology, defense, government, transportation and consulting industries that hire and retain veterans and launch veteran support programs.
