Science Applications International Corp. has obtained a Government Competency designation from Amazon Web Services as a provider of cloud offerings to the public sector.
SAIC said Thursday the status recognizes the company’s services and experience in efforts to deliver government information technology applications and workloads via AWS.
The Reston, Va.-based IT services contractor designs, generates and manages cloud-based workloads, as well as provides associated cloud services through the AWS Partner Network.
“Together with AWS, we help our customers to achieve their digital transformation goals,” said Coby Holloway, vice president of cloud and digital infrastructure at SAIC.
