The FBI, World Bank and U.K.’s Home Office have used Amazon Web Services‘ cloud technology in efforts to make data-based decisions in real time, YourStory reported Wednesday.

“We listened to our customers in the government to ramp up disaster recovery and reduce cost of completion while launching new applications,” said Teresa Carlson, vice president of AWS’ worldwide public sector business.

Carlson added the company’s industry partners seek to help government clients secure systems through data crunching method and development of tools that can offer data-based outcomes.

AWS-built computing and storage tools have helped U.S. public-sector technology professionals accelerate the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program application process.

The company also collaborated with a nongovernmental organization to create the artificial intelligence-based GMCNgine tool for the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children to scan millions of images across the dark web to find missing children.
