The U.S. Air Force has issued a request for information on existing tools designed to analyze and integrate multi-intelligence data sources.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says the Air Force Research Laboratory began to explore potential sources of multi-INT fusion and analytics tools from Defense Department laboratories, federally funded research and development centers, academic institutions or industry vendors.
AFRL is interested in technology platforms that can support workflow management processes, examine data from different sources, group related objects identified in those sources and fuse them into multi-intelligence systems for time-sensitive decision making.
The lab also wants platforms that can use predictive and descriptive analytics methods to help analysts identify and predict battlespace changes.
The issuance of the RFI notice comes as the Air Force looks to adopt new data management workflows, approaches and technologies through a Sense, Identify, Attribute, Share model.
The service will accept input through Dec. 7.
