Annette Rippert, senior managing director for technology at Accenture, has been recognized by the National Association of Female Executives for her efforts to encourage women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math fields.
“As the leader of our technology business in North America, Annette has made great strides in moving us closer to a gender-balanced workforce,†Paul Daugherty, chief technology and information officer at Accenture, said in a statement Tuesday.
“She has influenced the journeys of countless women with her passion and dedication to helping them advance and see opportunities they may not have seen themselves,†Daugherty added.
In her role at Accenture, Rippert helps clients advance their digital transformation initiatives through the adoption of cloud, analytics, artificial intelligence, mobility and other emerging technologies.
She is a member of Accenture’s Technology Leadership Council and Global Leadership Council and supports the management consulting firm’s apprenticeship programs.
Rippert has also backed STEM programs for women with industry partners such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Capital One.
She is a member of the McCormick Advisory Council at Northwestern University’s School of Engineering and participates in Code.org, Girls Who Code and the Grace Hopper Women in Computing Event.
