ACC Names Tom McCabe Outstanding Chief Legal Officer of the Year

Tom McCabe, senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary of BWX Technologies, has been named as Outstanding Chief Legal Officer of the Year by the Association of Corporate Counsel’s National Capital Region chapter.

McCabe received the award in the large company category. ACC recognized his leadership role in the merger of Orbital ATK and Northrop Grumman before entering BWXT.

BWXT president and CEO Rex Geveden said McCabe’s outstanding work and achievements made him a welcome addition to BWXT’s management team.

McCabe previously held executive roles at Alion Science and Technology, Braintech and XM Satellite Radio.

McCabe received both an MBA and JD from the University of Notre Dame.
