Viasat has released a cybersecurity software geared to securely facilitate the transmission of critical data between ships at sea and onshore facilities.
The integrated Mobile Dynamic Defense software uses a Defense in Depth model that combines multiple layers of security functions to constantly monitor and protect information in end-user devices, the company said Tuesday.
MDD functions as part of Viasat’s comprehensive cybersecurity platform designed to analyze commercial and government network data at terabit levels.
The software is available to the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the U.K.
