Perspecta to Maintain, Update Maryland’s Pension Admin System; Mac Curtis Quoted

Perspecta has received a potential five-year, $17M contract to continue to maintain and upgrade the state of Maryland’s pension administration platform and related applications.

The company said Tuesday it will help the Maryland State Retirement Agency develop an online portal for approximately 400K users and acquire and integrate commercial-of-the-shelf apps into business workflows through the contract.

“This win is a testament to Perspecta’s technical expertise, customer intimacy and knowledge of business process re-engineering,” said Mac Curtis, Perspecta president and CEO.

Curtis, a four-time Wash100 awardee, noted the company will implement the modifications to the Maryland Pension Administration System without causing any disruption to state employees and clients.

Perspecta has been delivering support services to MSRA in the past eight years and has supported the agency’s efforts to deploy a technology platform built to respond to changing business needs.
