Maria Lehman, former chief operating officer and interim executive director of the New York State Thruway Authority, has returned to Parsons as a vice president and director of business development.
The 36-year industry veteran will support the company’s infrastructure group in business development and market growth efforts within the N.Y. region, Parsons said Monday.
In her previous capacity, she led the authority’s efforts to maintain state infrastructure, transportation systems, traveler services and electric toll collection.
Lehman initially joined Parsons in 1981 as a project manager after graduating from the State University of New York with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
She also held positions at URS, The Chazen Companies, Bergmann Associates and Ecology & Environment.
