Leidos‘ QTC subsidiary has deployed two mobile clinics to provide healthcare support to military veterans who live in rural areas.
The clinics’ staff will accommodate veterans seeking general medicine, mental health, vision, audiology, otolaryngology, radiology, laboratory examination and cardiology evaluation services, Leidos said Tuesday.
Each clinic is equipped with commercial medical equipment, two exam rooms, a unisex restroom, a lab drawing station, a sound booth, a wheelchair lift and a waiting area.
QTC commenced its mobile health mission in Northern Central U.S. and currently evaluates other regions to help address a demand for veterans’ care services.
Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin are among the states that the mobile clinics have visited so far.
