L3 Technologies has doubled the size of its facility in Texas that offers military and commercial pilot training for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopter and unmanned platforms.
The company said Saturday it added 40K square feet of space at the Arlington Training Center to include an additional six full-flight simulators, classrooms equipped with virtual and augmented reality technologies and a dedicated environment for customers.
Christopher Kubasik, L3 chairman, president and CEO, said the company provides multiple training options to help address a worldwide demand for pilots and skilled aviation professionals.
The expanded training center is located close to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
L3’s link training and simulation business develops training systems and interactive and distributed courseware intended for platform operators and maintenance personnel.
