Hitachi Vantara Federal announced Tuesday that its parent company, Hitachi Vantara, has finalized the acquisition of REAN Cloud LLC.
“The deep digital expertise and assets gained through the acquisition of REAN Cloud firmly positions Hitachi Vantara Federal as a leader in providing innovative data management solutions to meet the rapidly evolving information technology needs of the federal government,†commented Dave Turner, president and CEO of Hitachi Vantara Federal.
“We now offer a unified cloud portfolio that our federal customers can leverage to manage their data and extract valuable insights within a scalable, secure environment ultimately supporting their mission,” Turner elaborated.
Speaking with ExecutiveBiz Tuesday, Turner added, “By integrating REAN Cloud’s technology capabilities and subject matter experts into our portfolio, Hitachi Vantara Federal now will be able to provide federal customers end-to-end solutions for data services and all possible cloud needs – from public, to private, to hybrid. Whatever our federal customer’s challenge is in the cloud or with data services infrastructure, we can deliver the best possible solution.”
The transaction expands Hitachi Vantara Federal’s enterprise core technology infrastructure and data intelligence platforms. Hitachi Vantara Federal will gain access to REAN Cloud’s global cloud systems and big data analytics, using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The move follows Hitachi Vantara Federal’s acquisition of Brocade Communications last November.
