A Hexagon subsidiary has developed a software that allows public sector entities to organize data and resources, assess their performance and modify their business operations.
Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure said Monday the Intergraph InSight platform is designed to collect data from computer-aided dispatch systems and other sources for evidence-based business reporting, analysis and decision-making purposes.
Jack Williams, product manager for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure, said Intergraph InSight allows 911, police, fire and emergency medical services and other public safety agency personnel that previously lack access to critical data to evaluate their agencies and operations using categorized sets of information.
Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure also released two other variants of the system:Â Intergraph InSight Advantage allows analysts to report and visualize large data sets while Intergraph InSight Essentials is designed for assessing small data sets.
The company introduced the data analytics system at the 2018 International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference and exposition.
