Engility will provide logistics training services to support the State Department’s Africa Peacekeeping Program under a $12.2M task order awarded through the AFRICAP III  contract vehicle.

The task order covers operations, maintenance, quartermaster and technical training efforts in the Central African Republic, Engility said Monday.

AFRICAP III, which the company secured a spot on last year, has a ceiling value of $1.5B.

“In today’s ever-changing threat environments, our allies around the world need support and expertise to maintain stability, resolve conflict and grow regional relationships,” said Scott Whatmough, senior vice president of Engility’s defense and security group.

Whatmough added the company seeks to help the State Department build peace across Africa by leveraging mission support experience, knowledge of international development efforts and training expertise.

Engility booked the order during the third quarter of this year.
