The Defense Information Systems Agency has issued sources sought notices to seek information on potential vendors that can provide information technology help desk support services for “fourth estate†agencies, Nextgov reported Monday.
The three separate notices posted Monday on FedBizOpps want information on women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; HUBZone-certified vendors; and “unrestricted†or large companies that could deliver global IT desk services across two tiers.
Tier I covers service desk support and calls for the contractor to perform work at their facilities with access to nonclassified internet protocol router network and secret internet protocol router network.
Tier II requires vendors to carry out desktop support services at more than 400 government facilities at U.S. and international locations.
The global IT help desk services requirement aims to support approximately 2.1M users and manage an average of 207K interactions per month.
DISA said it will accept responses to the notices through Oct. 16.
