Dave Maxwell, formerly senior vice president of Dewberry’s southern Virginia and North Carolina offices, has been promoted to operating unit manager of the company’s more than 20 offices in southeast U.S.
He will supervise more than 500 employees across Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, and central and southern Virginia, as well as oversee growth and operational strategies in his new position, Dewberry said Oct. 8.
The 16-year company veteran also leads the firm’s Southeast water service line.
Maxwell has also managed contracts and multidisciplinary teams during his more than two-decade industry career.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Virginia and professional accreditation in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
