Boeing has received a $55.6M undefinitized contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide program management support and components for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Cryptography Upgrade Increment II effort.
The company will produce eight digital components and 75 message processor drawers in compliance with the government’s minimum requirement for the ICBM modernization program, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
The Air Force will obligate $17.9M from fiscal 2018 missile procurement funds at the time of award.
Work under the sole-sourced and firm-price-incentive-fee contract will take place in Huntsville, Ala. and Huntington Beach, Calif.
The project is slated for completion on Feb. 11, 2019.
