Amazon Web Services has approved a MacAulay-Brown susbidiary to provide managed services to government customers of AWS cloud technology.
Prior to the approval, Enlighten IT Consulting completed a third-party assessment on its service offerings with involvement of clients who use big data and analytics platforms in GovCloud, MacB said Thursday.
Enlighten works with mission partners to help them build, implement an manage an accredited big data platform through the Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework containing a set of cloud cybersecurity approaches and tools.
Dave Levy, vice president of federal government for AWS and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said the RADMF managed service on GovCloud employs big data and cyber technologies intended to help customer agencies manage their missions.
Enlighten’s flagship product also includes artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science applications.
Both MacB and Enlighten became part of Alion Science and Technology via an acquisition deal that closed in August.
