The Army Contracting Command has issued a request for proposals for two non-developmental medium to large unmanned aerial systems, initial spares and related contractor logistics support services.
A FedBizOpps notice posted on Sept. 28 states that ACC also seeks contractors that can deliver new equipment training, maintenance, sustainment and operational support to U.S. Army Forces Command brigade combat teams that will demonstrate the capabilities of the group 2/3 drones.
The demonstration will support the service’s Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team operating under the Army Futures Command, as well as define future requirements for the technology.
ACC will accept responses to the RFP until Oct. 29.
The command will possibly award more than one indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for the effort.
The group 2/3 UAS stated under the contract will include all air vehicles, optical payloads, ground control stations, data terminals and support equipment, special tools, Class III(P) and initial spares package.
