Alion Science and Technology will serve as a Platinum Sponsor of NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference that is set to take place from Oct. 22 to 24 in Washington, D.C.
“GTC DC is a place for serious technologists and government leaders to connect and learn about the newest advancements in deep learning, artificial intelligence, and so much more,†Todd Borkey, chief technology officer at Alion, said in a statement published Tuesday.
He noted that the company’s decision to sponsor the conference is based on a belief that Alion could help federal agencies leverage AI to perform missions and the firm’s “deep respect†for NVIDIA’s technology.
Borkey and Chris Milroy, director of AI at Alion, are scheduled to speak on Oct. 23 at the event to discuss how government leaders can achieve AI readiness, pre-empt potential AI implementation challenges and target investments.
“We believe Alion has the potential to help bring Ai to critical agencies with practical, real-world applications,†said Anthony Robbins, vice president of public sector at NVIDIA.
“We are thrilled to have them as Platinum Sponsors for this year’s event, in addition to partnering with them on several programs we think will make a real impact for the federal government.â€
