Representatives of Alion Science and Technology and its Enlighten IT Consulting business will conduct live demonstrations at an upcoming NVIDIA-sponsored artificial intelligence conference in Washington, D.C.
MacAulay-Brown said Thursday its parent company Alion serves as a platinum sponsor of the 2018 GPU Technology Conference that will take place from Oct. 22 to 24 and will feature discussions on AI, deep learning, high-performance computing, autonomy, robotics and virtual reality.
Enlighten will present the Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework, a big data governance automation and data processing pipeline designed for Defense Department functions, at the event.
Alion intends to offer insight on how applied AI can support national security systems during a panel presentation.
Duane Shugars, senior vice president and general manager at Enlighten, said that Alion Chief Technology Officer Todd Borkey and other industry experts will discuss potential uses of deep-learning algorithms, data science techniques and high-performance computing in defense and intelligence missions.
