Web Business Solutions Inc. has won a potential seven-year $70.6M contract to help manage a U.S. Marine Corps center established to train the military branch’s personnel on how to operate command-and-control systems.
WBSI will provide support services to the Command and Control Training and Education Center of Excellence and its facilities located at various U.S. and international locations, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
The Marine Corps Systems Command received four offers for the  indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $4.7M in fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds on the first task order.
Locations of work include Camp Pendleton in California, Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
C2TECOE offers training programs designed to help Marines learn about C2 processes, tactics and techniques under the instruction of Marine Air-Ground Task Force commanders and personnel.
The center has five subordinate MAGTF Information Technology Support Centers that provide home station training to active and reserve units with a digital combat operations platform.
