ViON presented a portfolio of Oracle as-a-Service cloud-based platforms at the 2018 East Coast Oracle user conference that kicked off Tuesday in Raleigh, N.C.
ViON said Tuesday its OaaS offering is designed to help organizations speed up cloud migration efforts, reduce total cost of ownership and gain access to Oracle’s software and hardware platforms.
Tom Frana, ViON CEO and chairman and a two-time Wash100 recipient, said the company will discuss at the conference how Oracle cloud platforms work to help users optimize performance and ensure data and application security.
Jim Czuprynski, ACE director at ViON, was scheduled Tuesday to speak at the two-day event to guide users how to leverage partitioned external table platforms from Oracle for big data and manage app workloads through Oracle’s cloud offering.
