The U.S. Air Force Materiel Command is sourcing for potential contractors to provide 360 units of Lot 17 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range.
The AFMC would also require the contractor to provide sustainment services that support the operational safety, suitability and effectiveness of the missile, the U.S. Air Force said Thursday.
Services for the JASSM weapon system would include telemetry instrumentation kits, precision targeting image software, the JASSM simulator, technical data, upgrades, production implementation, obsolescence management, aircraft integration, non-warranty repair, containers and other complementary items.
The sourcing is also open to woman-owned and veteran-owned small businesses.
Responses are due Oct. 4.
