Serco Group‘s North American subsidiary has received a potential three-year, $43M task order to support U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s global procurement and logistics activities.
Serco Inc. said Monday it will provide support for related planning, contracting, training and management efforts under the order awarded through the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services procurement vehicle.
The Reston, Va.-based contractor plans to hire and deploy up to 80 workers to carry out the task.
“We will continue to support our nation’s critical logistics operations to ensure mission readiness,” said Dave Dacquino, chairman and CEO at Serco Inc.
Work will take place at Rock Island Arsenal and additionally at other locations worldwide over a one-year base period, and may continue for a maximum of two more years if all options are exercised.
