SAIC’s Kim Rupert Named to 2018 ‘Women Who Mean Business’ List; Steve Mahon Quoted

Kim Rupert, chief risk officer at Science Applications International Corp., has been included in the Washington Business Journal’s 15th annual list of top 25 influential businesswomen in the Washington, D.C., metro area.

The journal received approximately 400 nominations for the 2018 Women Who Mean Business list that recognizes women for their leadership skills, performance in their field and commitment to community service, SAIC said Friday.

Steve Mahon, an executive vice president and general counsel at SAIC, said the company is pleased to celebrate the recognition of Rupert, who serves as an inspiration in the community and has a passion for supporting SAIC and industry.

Since joining SAIC in 1994, Rupert has held the role of senior VP and contracts and pricing and other positions related to contract management.

She is a certified federal and professional contracts manager and the immediate past president of the National Contract Management Association.
