The Defense Department has again extended the deadline of bidding for a $10B cloud services contract and asked vendors to submit proposals in person, Nextgov reported Tuesday.
Interested parties may contact procurement officials to arrange submission details through Oct. 10, and deliver their responses to the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure solicitation on DVDs by Oct. 12.
Bidders can provide one or more DVDs containing proposals, as the DoD will no longer accept electronic submissions and other forms, the department said Monday in a FedBizOpps notice.
The Pentagon kicked off its solicitation for the sole-source JEDI contract in July.
