Raytheon Develops Laptop-Based EW Controller for Army - top government contractors - best government contracting eventRaytheon has developed a new mobile electronic warfare tool to help the U.S. Army manage signals without the need of external data connection or a host server.

The tool, named Raven Claw, is a laptop-based EW controller designed to facilitate the manipulation of multiple sensors from a single, shared interface, the company said Thursday.

Raytheon developed Raven Claw over six months and tested the device’s performance in the European theater.

Raven Claw builds on the experimental Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool, an Army program that Raytheon has been investing in since 2014.

“Our investment in an experimental version of EWPMT, coupled with a focus on building and testing with the U.S. Army operators, drove the rapid delivery of Raven Claw,” said Karen Steinfeld, director at Raytheon’s EW systems business.
