Parsons has unveiled a new facility at its Huntsville, Al., site as part of company efforts to increase technical capacity.
The 25K-square foot facility, which opened Friday, will provide for the company’s technical services expansion, which includes the fusion of hardware and software technological capacities for infrastructure, defense and intelligence customers, Parsons said Friday.
The new location will also house employees working on research and development for specialized tools such as the ZEUS Laser Neutralization System.
Mike Dewitz, executive vice president of engineering and technical services at Parsons, said the firm currently employs approximately 500 people in the Hunstville/Madison County area, and will hire another 50 after the expansion has been completed.
