ManTech International has awarded C5 Cyber Partners a subcontract to provide technology expertise and services to the U.S. Army’s Persistent Cyber Training Environment project.
C5 Cyber said Tuesday it will apply the software-based Cypherpath infrastructure operating system under the first phase of PCTE development.
Cypherpath is designed to integrate computing, storage, networking and virtualization functions into a software stack intended for deployment on bare metal infrastructure.
A software-defined OS works by hosting virtual workload and simplifying workload management processes.
ManTech leads an industry team that secured an “other transaction” agreement to build a PCTE prototype for the Army.
