Boeing‘s Insitu subsidiary has introduced a small unmanned aerial system designed to perform beyond line-of-sight flights and integrate with satellite communications technology.
Integrator Extended Range is built to travel 200 nautical miles and remain on station for up to 10 hours or fly 300nm and stay on station for up to six hours, Insitu said Monday.
The group 3 aircraft also works to process full-motion videos during high-altitude intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
The UAS employs a modular technology that can integrate with electronic warfare and signals intelligence payloads.
Esina Alic, Insitu president and CEO, said the company seeks to offer Integrator ER to military and coalition organizations.
The system was unveiled at the U.S. Air Force Association’s ongoing Air, Space and Cyber Conference.
