A Huntington Ingalls Industries business unit has secured a potential five-year, $34M contract to help U.S. Navy coastal riverine forces maintain expeditionary equipment.
HII said Monday its technical solutions group will provide engineering, logistics, technical and field team support as well as organizational and intermediate-level maintenance services to CORIVFOR groups one and two.
The company will also help manage hull, mechanical and electrical, and electronic and civil engineering support equipment under the fixed-fee contract.
Work will take place in Norfolk, Va., and San Diego.
The fleet support team within’s HII’s technical solutions business offers marine engineering; analysis and design; waterfront systems modernization; testing and maintenance services as well as HM&E and command, control, communications, computers and intelligence installation services.
