Booz Allen Hamilton CEO Horacio Rozanski said during a recent earnings call the company has invested in artificial intelligence as the Defense Department and federal agencies tap into the technology, National Defense Magazine reported Tuesday.
“We see this as the beginning of something. The market for [AI] is here and Booz Allen is well prepared to capture it,†Rozanski added.
The company secured a potential five-year, $885M contract in July to help the U.S. Goverment Program Office, DoD associates and the intelligence community adopt AI and neural networks through the Enterprise Machine Learning Analytics and Persistent Services platform.
Last year, a Booz Allen-Nvidia partnership designed a training program as part of efforts to help federal employees understand and leverage emerging technologies such as platforms used to address cybersecurity, defense and healthcare challenges.
