Engility has won a pair of task orders under a potential five-year, $45M contract for support services to the U.S. Army’s Armament Software Engineering Center.
The company said Friday it seeks to help the center develop and sustain software as well as provide process assurance support for military weapons, training and combat support platforms.
Scott Whatmough, senior vice president for defense and security at Engility, said the company “brings a long history of that along with cyber test and evaluation, the ability to operate in a CMMI Level 5 software environment and deep Picatinny Arsenal domain understanding.”
The two orders have a combined potential value of $2.8M.
Engility is among six contractors that won spots on the IDIQ in July and noted it has supported ARDEC’s armament fire control software, systems engineering and information technology efforts over the past two decades.
