Deloitte and Dcode have partnered to support startups in marketing their information security and space-related offerings to the public sector.
Deloitte said Monday it will help Dcode form and train a group of six to 10 space-focused firms on how to handle business processes with the government for eight weeks, all in an effort to boost innovations in the space industry.
Meanwhile, seven other companies will be placed in an information security unit that will focus on addressing issues in encryption, software and infrastructure security and compliance, threat monitoring and detection, and log management and analytics.
The seven startups will enter the government market through Dcode’s accelerator program.
Michael Isman, managing director at Deloitte, said the collaboration will support Dcode in the company’s goal of strengthening the emerging technology ecosystem, as well as accommodate Deloitte’s public sector clients.
