Concurrent Technologies Corp. has won a potential five-year, $36M contract to assist the U.S. Marine Corps in efforts to address the service’s energy reliability and resiliency goals.
CTC said Thursday it will help Marine Corps Installations Command review Energy Security Assessment documents, recommend upgrades for infrastructure, analyze utility rates and bills and audit energy systems at multiple USMC facilities.
Barbaricum, Cintel, Risk Mitigation Consulting and Sain Engineering Associates will serve as CTC’ subcontractors on the project.
Ed Sheehan, president and CEO of CTC, said the team will offer technology platforms and services to help maintain the service branch’s energy posture.
The contract has one base year, followed by four option years, and was awarded after a full and open competition.
Work also covers the collection, analysis and storage of energy data, as well as technical support for energy security and planning efforts.
