BAE to Pursue NGA Janus Program Support Orders via Three IDIQ Contracts - top government contractors - best government contracting event

BAE Systems has been selected to help the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency increase availability of commercial geospatial data and community-sourced information under three contracts worth up to $1.52B.

NGA down-selected only two contractors to vie for task orders to support the agency’s Janus Geomatics Precise Imagery, Janus Geography and Janus Geomatics Elevation programs, BAE said Wednesday.

The company plans to use geospatial intelligence sources, cloud processing services, and automation and artificial intelligence tools help customers manage GEOINT content.

“Policymakers, warfighters, intelligence professionals and first responders all depend on accurate geospatial data,” said Kevin Malone, vice president and general manager of analytics systems at BAE.

He added the Janus programs seeks to address a demand for geospatial data and accelerate decision-making process.

The company will perform tasks at its facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
