Maj. James Covington, a former aide-de-camp at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has joined professional services firm Dewberry to support various projects under a one-year rotational program.
He brings 15 years of engineering experience and will work on projects in the areas of alternative delivery, water, resilience, transportation, civil, and land planning and development, Dewberry said Tuesday.
Covington has been with the U.S. Army for 17 years, and is a recipient of service distinctions such as Bronze Star Medals, Meritorious Service Medals and an Army Achievement Medal.
The engineer is also an active contributor at military organizations including the Association of the United States Army and the Military Officers Association of America.
