Alion Science and Technology has received a $33M task order to help the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers modernize, secure and maintain USACE’s ground-based and satellite communications platforms.
The company said Tuesday it aims to develop systems for USACE to protect systems used in the event of an emergency from radio frequency interference.
Alion will also provide analysis, surveying and test services under the task order that was awarded through the potential Information Analysis Center Multi-Award Contract.
Brandi Greenberg, an Alion program manager, said the company aims to ensure that USACE personnel have access to the RF spectrum as they perform missions.
