The Agriculture Department has issued a request for information on support services for an initiative that aims to establish a private two-way communication site for USDA employees.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says the department seeks to leverage a OneUSDA Intranet network to help department officials simultaneously relay messages to their team members.
USDA expects the site to include news about the department, messages from the department secretary, list of calendar events, training opportunities, employee engagement and civilian feedback.
The communication network can also be used as the home screen for existing agency intranet sites.
Responses to the notice are due Aug. 27.
