Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential five-year, $52M task order to help a U.S. Army laboratory facilitate arms experimentation activities via live, virtual and game-based platforms.
SAIC said Monday it will support the Maneuver Battle Lab at Fort Benning, Georgia, in efforts to manage the service branch’s readiness efforts.
“We are excited to continue our work in experimentation, modeling and simulation, and systems engineering for the Army,†said Jim Scanlon, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s defense systems customer group.
Scanlon added the company has worked with the lab over the past 13 years.
The Army and the General Services Administration jointly issued the single-award order that has one base year and four option years.
