The General Services Administration and the Agriculture Department have issued six requests for quotes as part of the second phase of the White House’s Centers of Excellence program, Federal News Radio reported Wednesday.
The solicitations released Monday intend to support the implementation of the five COEs that focus on information technology modernization efforts such as IT infrastructure optimization; cloud adoption; service delivery analytics; contact centers; and customer experience.
USDA also asked industry to submit quotes for services in support of its business modernization office.
The report said the cloud and infrastructure optimization RFQ has divided tasks and requirements into four pools: application rehosting; replatforming; DevSecOps resources to support future refactoring; and cloud platform services organization support.
Responses to the requests are due Aug. 10, according to the report.
GSA and USDA plan to host oral presentations for the infrastructure and cloud COE from Aug. 20 to Aug. 31.
The release of the six RFQs came four months after GSA initiated the CoE program’s initial phase through contracts awarded to four companies.
