Perspecta has received an 18-month, $49 million “other transaction” agreement to develop an information technology system for the Defense Information Systems Agency‘s Investigation Management program.
The company said Tuesday its enterprise services subsidiary will provide a standardized governmentwide IT platform intended to help the National Background Investigation Services manage security and credentialing processes for the federal workforce.
The system will be designed to integrate multiple systems and agencies, increase investigative data visibility and provide field investigators access to collaboration tools.
Mac Curtis, president and CEO at Perspecta and a four-time Wash 100 winner, said the company has formed a team of case and content management, national security, clearance processing and data analytics professionals to support the NBIS project.
Team members are Accenture Federal Services, Pegasystems, Next Tier Concepts, Torch Research and CA Technologies, formerly known as Computer Associates.
Perspecta secured the award under an OTA with the Consortium Management Group.
